Banff_Hotsprings2009

The hot springs near Banff, Alberta have been developed into a spa where the main flow is diverted into a swimming pool. This "natural" hot stream does come from the ground, but has been carefully sculpted and channeled for maximum tourist enjoyment. I did enjoy soaking in the pool and making this clip in 2009, while I was a resident at the Banff Arts Centre nearby.
